At the Dinner Table, Times Three
We put the patio table in the kitchen. (teenager table) These dishes were my Grandparents...we ate many Sunday dinners on them as teenagers...And yes Kelli (my sister) I actually own three fabric table clothes....shocking isn't. It was a great night and so fun to share our home with so many friends.

A Little Christmas Music

The following music are just some of the highlights from the RS dinner & Ward Party:
I came across the "This is the Christ" hymn a couple of months ago and decided to use it as a theme for our RS Christmas Dinner...its more of an Easter song, but it worked... The other cool fact about this song is James E Faust wrote the lyrics.
"This Is The Christ"
This is the Christ, the holy Son of God,
Our Savior, Lord, Redeemer of mankind.
This is the Christ, the healer of our souls
Who ransomed us with purest love divine!

"Guard Him Joseph":
Loved this....Also uses Pachelbel's Canon in D (my favourite piece of classical music)
Guard him, Joseph, from all danger; keep thy vigil nigh his bed
Let no harm nor grief befall him; stand thou in a father's stead
When his mother's arms be weary, hold him gently as thine own
For thou hast within thy keeping God's own well-beloved Son.

Needless to say, I am now looking forward to Christmas and so grateful for the gift of music.

Dallyn says the Darndest Things....
All of my kids crack me up...but Dallyn might have a future as a stand up comedian. I guess as the baby of the family, he comes by it honestly.
Yesterday Dallyn, after more than an hour of his sisters tormenting him finally said to me. "You know Mom, maybe a nice foreign family could adopt me"
Then tonight as I was finally sitting down to prepare my lesson for tomorrow (its not on procrastination, but probably should be) I asked Dallyn to get me a glass of water...
Me: "Dallyn can you please get me a glass of water?"
Dallyn: "But Mom!, I don't want to be a bus boy...I want to be a Nascar driver.
Comedian or Nascar driver who knows...for now comedian it is :)

Nice Sweater, eh?
Me in the tackiest Christmas sweater ever (thanks mom!) and acid wash maternity jeans (I was 7 months preggers with Bailey at the time).
