Grant & I went to the "Celebration of Life" of a good friend of my In-Laws yesterday. It was a true "Cowboy Funeral". Most were in their best westen get-up, cowboy hats & boots. We were slightly over-dressed. Fiddlers with a wash tub bass welcomed all. It was standing room only,a great testiment to the circle of friends Darryl had.
What a beautiful service, friends stories & slade shows. We came a with a new appreciation for a friend, we will truly miss. And the desire to make sure our friends know how much they mean to us right now.
We spent the rest of the afternoon with our dear friends. On the most beautiful farm on the Island. I am truly grateful for our treasured friends who are our extended family.
