The Superman and I took a walk through Filberg Lodge and Park for the first time Sunday evening....We drive by it several times a week but have never actually stopped. So pretty and peaceful.. We thought we should bring the kids here... So since the Superman's on holidays and the kids were climbing the walls we went there this afternoon....
The two non teenagers thought it was great.
This is what the teenagers thought......
At least they all pretended to like the miniature horse....
We then headed to Saratoga Beach for the rest of the afternoon, which went over slightly better...
July and its still pretty cold
Madison loves seaweed, Everybody else, not so much.
Even Bailey stuck her toes in.
Isn't this what you're supposed to do with pool noodles?
Tater the wonder dog, didn't miss a minute of it.
We were by far the noisiest family on the beach, go figure. Some how it always turns into a sand fight....sigh. But it was relaxing for a while.
Favourite conversation of the afternoon: The girls got into a discussion with Grant on whether he really knew how to cook or not. "I know how to cook!" Grant defended. To which Holly replied:
"Hot Dogs and Cereal don't count Dad!"
I love my family :)
