I think if our family could, we would be professional beach bums. We love the beach. Exploring tide pools, walking barefoot in the sand, watching the eagles and herring soar, the inevitable water fights and sand wrestling it is my favourite way to waste away an afternoon. We live in the perfect location, dozens of beaches within a 30 minute drive. I remind the kids all the time that people spend a lot of money to vacation in our "back yard." My hope is that none of us ever take it for granted. We are very blessed beach bums.
